  1. Watch the Clip about ENERGY. Can you answer the questions below? Make sure you read other students' comments before yours, so nothing is repeated.
    1. Pull out a key fact from what you have just saw/heard. (Can you explain this in detail)
    2. Do you have a wondering about what you have just heard/ saw?

  2. 1. That the heat you feel is from the speed the molecules hit your skin.
    2. How do you know that there is energy on and around you if you can't see it or feel it.

  3. 1. There is a bushel of energy in your hands.
    2. You can't see it directiy.

    1. Why does it say you can't see it directly but you can't hold it.

  4. 1.you can't see it but you can see what it does
2.how do you know that the the total of energy around us is always the same if you cant see it.

  5. 1. Molecules are always moving because they have kinetic energy.
    2. Why are molecules always moving why can't they have potential energy?

  8. 1.Heaps of molecules are going really fast into your skin to make you feel heat.
2.Why can't molecules stop moving and start moving after a few seconds?

  9. 1 .Molecules are always moving but they just vary speed, depending on temperature IE cold= slow hot= fast
2.How do scientists know molecules are moving/ how do they measure there speed

  11. 1.on a hot day air molecules have more kinetic energy than your skin molecules which is known as heat, but on a cold day skin molecules have more kinetic energy which is known as
cold. 2.why do some molecules have more energy than others

  12. 1. You can't see energy, but you can feel them hitting you skin. For example, if its a hot day the air molecules have more kinetic energy than you do and we feel that as hot, and when its a cold day the air molecules have less kinetic energy than you and we feel that as cold.

    2. How does temrature effect the energy around us?

  13. 1)these molecules are the opposites of each other but some how create on the same path of each other.
2)what would be the reaction of there chemicals if they combined?

  14. 1. You can't hold a bushel of energy in your hand, That the total amount of the different energy in the universe, is always the same.
    2. How do you know that molecules are moving.

  15. 1. If it is a hot day, then the molecules will be moving way faster than if, it was a cold day.
When it is really hot, the molecules will be moving a lot faster into your skin, than usual,
so you get overheated and then burnt.
    2. How does energy get the power to move, control, or change things?
Why can molecules never stop moving?
